Editorial Standards

Tenancy Agreement Service publishes plain-English legal information for UK landlords. These standards explain who is behind the site, how we produce and check our content, and how we handle independence and corrections.

Who is behind it

The site is a publication of Spring Incubator Ltd (company no. 08582887). Its editor is Bradley Askew, a solicitor (non-practising) of England & Wales (SRA ID 300076), who provides editorial oversight. Tenancy Agreement Service is not a law firm, is not regulated by the SRA, and does not provide legal advice.

How we create content

Research and first drafts are produced with AI assistance. Guidance is then reviewed by the editor for legal accuracy before it carries a review credit. We aim to write clearly, in plain English, and to be specific about what the law requires.

Our sources

We check statements of law against primary sources — legislation.gov.uk and GOV.UK — and cite the relevant Act, regulation, or official guidance where it matters.

Review and corrections

The law changes, and pages can fall out of date. If you think something is wrong or out of date, please contact us and we will review it. We update pages when the law changes and correct errors promptly.

Independence and affiliate disclosure

We link to Net Lawman, a third-party document provider, and may earn a commission. The documents are theirs, not drafted by us for your circumstances. This never changes what we publish.

Not legal advice

Everything here is general legal information, not legal advice for your specific situation. For advice on your circumstances, consult a regulated solicitor. Read our full disclaimer.
